Racing for a Good Cause

According to the Rotary’s Pat Nahin, Bishop ran its 6th annual Bishop Rotary Santa Mile Saturday, December 3rd and attracted runners of all ages – including babies in strollers.  The starting line was at the Bishop Chamber of Commerce at the front of Bishop City Park.  All proceeds from the Santa Mile go to Polio Plus which helps fund Rotary’s joint effort with UNICEF, the World Health Organization, Centers for Disease Control and the Bill and Melinda Gates Foundation to eradicate polio from the face of the earth.
