COATS FOR KIDS

By Seth Conners

Coats for Kids will be back in action this weekend. Bob Kingston and the Bishop Nursery will host a live Radio Broadcast from Local Celebrity Gary Young and 100.7 KIBS. The Broadcast is to provide a venue and drop off spot for the ongoing Coats for Kids Donation Drive that has been ongoing for the past couple weeks. Bishop Nursery is located at 789 Home Street in Bishop. Locals are encouraged to make a child’s winter a little warmer by dropping off new or gently used coats at the Nursery starting at 10 a.m. tomorrow. The event will last until noon at the Bishop Nursery but coats can be dropped off at the Salvation Army anytime until December 11th. Lt. Sherry Hooper, at the Salvation Army, would like to remind the public that kids of all sizes need jackets and larger jackets for teenagers are short on supply and long on demand. Again this event will take place at Bishop Nursery tomorrow, November 26th, from 10-12 noon. For more information please contact the Salvation Army.
