45TH PRESIDENT OF AMERICA / LOCAL ELECTION NEWS

Last night, Donald Trump became Americas 45th President- Elect. Clinton called a little after 11:30 p.m. last night to concede the election. Trump will take over as president at the start of the new year.

In local election news, according to Inyo County Clerk Registrar of voters Kammi Foote, these results are official but another 1600 votes are still to be counted before election results will become final. The results should become final in about a week, as of now, Laura Smith, Jim Ellis, and Patricia Gardner have been elected to the City Council. Inyo County has elected Nathan Reade and Sandra Anderson to the Owens Valley School District Board. And Susan Kay Patton and Marjianne Yong have been elected to serve on the board for Lone Pine Unified School District. John Ungersma was elected in Northern Inyo Hospitals Zone 1 election and in Zone 2 it was Phil Hartz winning the election. And finally, Devon Mathis was re-elected as District 26 State Assembly Man. Again these results are not final with votes still left to count. An update will be available as soon as Friday with the final results coming in about a week.
