STATUS REPORT ON ADVENTURE TRAILS

STATUS REPORT ON ADVENTURE TRAILS

Off highway vehicles will soon have some new routes. In January 2015, the Inyo County Board of Supervisors approved designation of seven combined use routes for certain off-highway vehicles. Three of the routes were open to the public in July and August 2015. the next four routes in the Bishop Area will be opened next month. The county has set up a website to collect input (including feedback, suggestions, and/or complaints) and is also conducting field surveys including operational data. Information gathered will be included in a report to the State Legislature in December of 2019.

Inyo County will be collecting data over the life combined-use routes and requests continuing public input. To learn more about the project, to view maps as the routes are open for public use, and to provide feedback, please visit www.inyoltc.org/ab628lmpl.html.
