ESMF IS HOSTING ITS ANNUAL GOLF FUNDRAISER
That’s right it’s back to the links for the Eastern Sierra Music Festival; and its Annual Golf Tournament Fundraiser. It’s set for Saturday, September 17th at the Bishop country Club. This four-person scramble starts at 9 a.m. with a shotgun start.
According to Tournament Chairman Bob Waggoner, last years tournament sold out, so early sign-ups are encouraged. Waggoner also said many Bishop and Mammoth Lakes individuals and businesses have come forward to donate some fantastic prizes, all to raise funds for the music festival’s second year. Perry Motors has generously donated the Hole-In-One prizes, which include a new Honda. Other prizes include:
- A sight-seeing flight for two in a Cessna 182, donated by Jerry Core
- A three-night cabin stay at Crowley Lake Fish Camp including a $100 boat rental credit, donated by John Fredrickson
- A two-night stay at Shilo Inn on Mammoth Lakes complete with ski or snowboard rental, donated by Tom Cage
- A guided fly fishing trip for two, donated by The Trout Fitter
Drawing tickets are now available to the public. To purchase, stop by Bishop Country Club between 9 a.m. and 2 p.m. and see the front desk staff. Tournament spots can be reserved by calling the Bishop Country Club at 760 – 878 – 5828.
The 2017 Eastern Sierra Music Festival will be held July 21-22 right here in Bishop at the Tri-County Fairgrounds. ESMF is a 501c3 non-profit organization. ESMF’s chosen charity is The National Wounded Warrior Center, set to be built in Mammoth Lakes by Disabled Sports Eastern Sierra.
