Bishop Union High School’s Cal Omohundro played in his first JV game Friday.  The Freshman certainly made an impression.  Omohundro drove in 6 runs while tossing a no-hitter.  This spring Cal made the transition from basketball to baseball winning a spot on the varsity roster.  The varsity Broncos were off this past Friday allowing Omonundro to help out the Bronco JV while picking up valuable mound time.  Bishop Union put the game out of reach early scoring 15-runs in the bottom of the 1st inning.   On the day the Broncos pounded out 22 hits.

The JV Broncos are now off until Tuesday, April 26th.  Bishop Union will host rival Kern Valley at the Bishop City Park, field 4.  The Varsity Broncos will be back in actin this week with games at California City Tuesday and home Friday with Frazier Mt.  All Bronco Varsity games are broadcast live on AM 1230 KBOV.
