Big Pine Coach Bob Church, “Pretty much the routine now for the Lady Warriors, as they only scored 5 first period points. However, it was still enough to lead the visiting Tigers 5-4 after the initial 8 minutes of play.  The second period of play saw five Lady Warriors break into the scoring column, with AnahKee Mason leading the way with 6 points in the quarter. Missed lay-ups and free throws again continue to haunt the Lady Warriors, who could have had a much more sizable lead at half.  It was AnahKee Mason again doing the majority of the scoring in the third period as she scored 8  points, but Gena Lewis was finally talked into shooting more than once or twice a game. Gena contributed 6 points, all in the third period. Also in the third period, Big Pine’s 3-2 half-court trap was more effectively creating turnovers, which resulted in more possessions for the host team.  In the fourth Lauren Simpson led the Warriors with 4 points in the quarter- 3 of those coming off a right corner 3 pointer.”
