Bishop Youth Football competes at Boron

Bishop Youth Football’s Division 1 and 3 teams notched wins this weekend at Boron.

Broncos (36) vs Boron Wildcats (13)
Broncos traveled to Boron Saturday, September 26th and defeated the Wildcats 36-13.  Coach Morgenstein would like to honor the Lineman on both sides of the ball with the Most Valuable Performances as they opened up the holes to run through, the time to pass with and on defense, the wildcats could not move the ball until the Mercy Rule was activated (pulling the entire starting team).

Valle and Brooks both had QB sacks and TD blocks as well did Van Meter.

Manny Talavera was MVP runner up as he scored a long TD run and made 2 of 3 PAT kicks, while  also scoring on a Point After run- Manny also had 2 crucial TD saving tackles late in the game, Rushing TD, 2 two point kicks, 1 one point run & 5+ tackles.
Jaydan Braithwaite scored a TD and also had a great game on defense stuffing the outside run time and time again. 1 Rushing TD.
Wes Pettet had another stellar game with double digit incredible tackles & scored a TD on a long run. 1 Rushing TD.
Luke McClean scored twice – 2 TDs, one receiving and one rushing- Luke also racked up multiple key tackles.
Clay Omohundro threw another TD pass to Luke McClean.  1 TD pass.
Steven Paco had a fantastic showing wwith a couple of long runs using good vision and a late interception and run nearly scoring a TD. 1 INT
The entire team had a great showing displaying exceptional attitudes, team work and effort.

The Bishop Youth Football Divison 1 team improves to 4-0 with a 26-0 shutout win at Boron.  The Youth Broncos now travel to Big Bear this weekend.
