Kayla Inderbieten rides at Nationals

BUHS Graduate among 180 Barrel racers

It may be a massive field of competitors, but recent Bishop Union high school graduate Kayla Inderbieten is currently in the running to make the short go at the National High School Finals Rodeo in Rock Springs Wyoming.  Kayla made a pair of quality runs this week setting herself up for a coveted spot in Saturdays Short Go.  Inderbieten and her trusty teammate Pard made runs of 17.62 and 17.79.  Kayla has to watch today’s runs and hope her times will hold up for a spot in the top 20.  Kayla is currently 4th in the average with approximately 90 riders competing today, (Friday, July 17th).

Reached via telephone from Wyoming Inderbieten is thankful for the support from home, “Thank you to every single person that gave me money and support, and have been watching me and following my progress through my last 4 years, not just this rodeo. The support means a ton to me. It makes the whole experience so much more fun, I like having the people at home who really believe what I can do.”
