Jr Livestock Show Sponsors needed

Tri County Fair Looking for sponsors

With the 2015 Junior Livestock Show and Auction only two months away, the Eastern Sierra Tri County Fair is looking for help from the community, specifically for award sponsors. “We are about half way to our goal for sponsorship fund for this year’s awards program. So if you are a regular donor, and just haven’t gotten to it yet, give us a call, and if you are a first time supporter, we’d love to have you,” says fair CEO Sally Symons

The Junior Livestock Show is slated for July 8-11, 2015 at the Eastern Sierra Tri County Fairgrounds.  The event provides local 4-H and FFA youth from as far south as Olancha and as far north as Gardnerville, the opportunity to exhibit their projects, what they’ve learned and compete for awards in everything from bunnies to beef cattle, and poultry to pigs. And new to the mix this year is a meat goat category. “Livestock projects teach our youth responsibility, work ethic, budgeting, the concepts of expenses, profit & loss, and gives insight into where our food comes from and how to provide for others,” continued Symons.
