Golden Eagles shutout Mustangs
The Lone Pine Golden Eagles boys baseball team played the Mojave Mustangs Friday afternoon at Lone Pine, beating the Mustangs 4 – 0.
Garrett Sullivan took the mound for Lone Pine, pitching 7 innings on 76 pitches for the complete game win, while striking out 11, giving up just 2 hits. Sullivan was very economical and did not walk a batter.
In the field, the Eagles played good defense, with key plays by Doug Moore, Eddy Ivey and Dillan Noland.

This week the Eagles play Tuesday at Desert Christian, and then play the final regular season home game against Boron on Thursday at 3:30. The remainder of the regular season games are on the road.
