Playhouse 395 Offering One More Night of Murder

You asked for it…another murder in Bishop. Back by popular demand, Mountain Rambler Brewery will be hosting Playhouse 395’s Encore presentation of Eat, Drink and Be Murdered on Monday, November 2nd at 6:30 PM.  The cast of this murder mystery dinner theater has performed to two sold out audiences featuring two witty, feuding families gathered under one roof to celebrate the 80th birthday of Rose McFadden, the matriarch of Wild Irish Rose Distillery.

If you missed out on all the fun of our previous two shows, you have a final opportunity to experience this murder mystery dinner theater by attending our November 2nd Encore performance.  A limited amount of tickets are available at Mountain Rambler Brewery located at 186 S. Playhouse 395’s Murder Mystery

Playhouse 395 presents “Eat, Drink and be Murdered”

Playhouse 395 is proud to announce a special fall dinner murder mystery presentation “Eat, Drink and be Murdered”. This dinner show will be presented at the Mountain Rambler Brewery on Monday October 12th and Monday October 19th. The mystery begins at 6:30 when the McFadden’s and O’Riley’s get together to commemorate the 80th birthday of their family matriarch, Grandma Rose.

A distillery vat drowning, a secret ingredient and feuding families will make this a night to remember. Tickets are $40 each and include a delicious dinner, the theatre show and prizes awarded to the lucky dinner guest who correctly guesses the murderer and the motive.

Tickets are now available at the Mountain Rambler Brewery on South Main Street but seats are limited so be sure to purchase yours soon!

Paradise Fire District Fundraiser

Paradise FD holding Fundraiser June 6th

Paradise Fire Protection District is holding their First Fire Engine Red Fundraiser Saturday, June 6, from 5:00 pm to 8:00 pm at Hidden Creek Ranch, Bishop.

Seeing a need to augment funding to purchase necessary life saving tools, Paradise Fire Protection District is stepping up to the plate.

The recent Round Fire made very apparent the District’s vulnerability to wild fires, especially after four years of drought. Ann Klinefelter said, “We desperately need new wild land firefighting equipment. We are applying for a 50/50 matching grant through the Cal Fire Volunteer Fire Assistance Grant Program to purchase approximately $20,000 worth of equipment. “ And she added, “To raise our portion of the funds, the PFPD Board is holding the First Annual Fire Engine Red Fundraiser on June 6, 2015. Our goal is to raise $10,000, while bringing our community together for an evening of fun and good cheer. We are asking for your help!”

Join your friends and neighbors for a special evening featuring wine tasting by Eberle Vineyard, Mastro Scheidt Family Cellars, and Shadow Ranch Winery; beer tasting by Mountain Rambler Brewery; appetizers and desserts by Classy Cowgirl Catering; live music by Idle Hands; and a chance to win fabulous prizes in the Silent Auction and Raffle.

Event tickets are $60 each and Raffle Tickets are $10 each or 3 for $20.
