Weekend of Classic Cars and Rock “N” Roll
Remember when gas was .27 cents a gallon and you received “Blue Chip Stamps.” Remember your way back to the 50s & 60s for a weekend of all the best of that great era. Coming this weekend October 2—4. The Owens Valley Cruisers presents the Fall Colors Car Show, including music all evening Friday night and Saturday, 300 cars on display, vendors, memorabilia, great food and drink and more! And entry is FREE all weekend. Saturday and Sundays events all take place at the Tri-County Fairgrounds.
Awards will be presented including best of show, best paint, best engine, stock and modified classes, club participation, ladies choice and a number of others. The annual gathering of beautifully restored vehicles is a popular event. Open to all vehicles built before 1974. The show highlights the talents of restoration and craftsmanship of hot rodding.
On Saturday Main Street will be lined up with hot rods and classic cars for the ever popular parade starting at 3 PM. On Sunday don’t miss the award presentation starting at noon at the fairgrounds.
