Bronco Varsity falls to Yosemite in Overtime

Yosemite preserved a Homecoming victory over the Broncos with a thrilling 28-21 overtime win in front of a huge crowd in Oakhurst Ca. Yosemite Running back #22 Johnny Varian providing a good portion of the Badgers offensive output in the game.

Bronco QB Ryan Graves had a great game throwing for 194 yards with 2 TD passes  and rushing for 36 yards with 1 rushing TD.

Bronco Back Sean Brown played a great game on both offense and defense. Brown rushed for 70 yards on 14 carries, and had 5 solo tackles with 8 assists  on “D”

With Injuries to Izaak Morganstein and Mario Velasco in the first half, the Broncos relied on Hunter Waasdorp, Arturo Lemus and Allan Torres to handle the receiving duties and all three players stepped up to the challenge.  Waasdorp caught 5 passes for 54 yards and 1 TD. Lemus grabbed a couple receptions for 28 yards total and Torres had 3 catches for 30 yards.


The Bronco defense shined throughout the game but ultimately fell to the Badgers in Overtime 28-21. Next up Broncos travel to Kern Valley on Friday night, October 7th.
