Bishop Youth Football takes on RIM

The Bishop Youth Football team will take to Bishop Union High School’s John Schwab field this Saturday.  The ballgames represent the youth footballers first chance to play on refurbished John Schwab field.  Division 1 starts at 9am, Division 2 at 11am, and the Division 3 game begins at 1pm.

Last Saturday Bishop Youth Football scored three wins in match ups with Trona.  All three games were play at Big Pine High School. The Division 1 Broncos won 31-20.  Division 2 won 41-18, and Division 3 won 36-14.

Jayden Braithwaite earned MVP honors with 3 touchdowns, playing great on special teams, offense, and defense.

Quarterback Wes Pettet also had a great game with  a touchdown while leading the team as offensive and defensive captain.
Tristan Valle & Justin brooks played well at defensive end.
Jordan cooper also scored a pic-six at the end of the game.

Elijah Reynolds,   5 assists, 8 solo tackles. 12 carries for 252  4 TDs.
