Broncos battle Rosamond

Bishop High hosts Rosamond in HDL Basketball

The second half of High Desert League basketball started Friday night with the Broncos falling to Rosamond 72-49.  Rosamond built a 23-14 lead after the first quarter and never looked back.  The loss moves the varsity boys to 1-4 in HDL play with three games to go.  The Broncos will travel to California City this Friday, then wrap up the HDL season with back to back home games on Tuesday, February 17th (Frazier Mt) and Wednesday the 18th (Kern Valley).  All Bronco varsity boys games are broadcast live on AM 1230 KBOV, and streamed live here at kibskbov.com.

The Broncos Varsity Girls stay unbeaten in HDL play with a solid victory over rosamond.  Tamia Shoshone had another double double with 15 points and 16 rebounds.

The JV boys stay undefeated on the year with a strong win over the roadrunners.  The top four scorers for the JV are freshman.
